A Shocking Photo Of What COVID-19 Did To Him After Six Weeks In A Hospital

A 43-year-old California man shared a social media photo last week of the devastation caused by his coronavirus during his nearly two-month stay in hospital.

Schultz may be a San Francisco nurse who doesn't have any of the essential conditions he wont to practicing almost a day , but after six weeks at Boston Hospital infected with the virus, he said he went from 190 lbs to 140.

The 43-year-old nurse from San Francisco had no underlying health conditions. He normally worked out six or seven times a week. He weighed about 190 pounds. When he spoke with BuzzFeed News on Tuesday, weeks after he'd been able to start eating foods again, he weighed just 140 pounds. His lung capacity is only now starting to slowly come back.

Schultz traveled to Boston in mid-March to go to his friend. every week earlier, they visited Miami Beach to attend a festival where a minimum of 38 people showed positive results, and three men died from the virus.

Within days of arriving in Boston, he was suffering a 103 degree fever and his lung was crammed with fluid.

He was taken to hospital, alerted for over a month, and his friend, who called the maximum amount as possible and FaceTimed with the assistance of a nurse, said it was "almost like being in a coma."

He said he was exhausted standing for a couple of minutes to require the image and his pulmonary ability was severely disrupted."I was very weak," he remembers. The most frustrating parts. "I couldn't hold the phone; it was so heavy."
"I thought it had been only every week ago," he said of his sixth week in hospital.

Since leaving hospital last week, Schultz said he received a violent reaction because he attended the Miami Beach Festival, but chose to specialise in his recovery.

"I didn't think it was that dangerous because it was until things started," he told BuzzFeed. i assumed i used to be young enough to not affect me, and that i know tons of individuals think that."
